The Female Gaze Medusa Eye Necklace

The mythology behind Medusa has always fascinated me. So it’s no surprise that in doing a batch of jewelry highlighting feminist icons during Halloween that she would be someone I wanted to represent.

This marquis shaped Picasso jasper lends itself perfectly to the job. It’s already in the shape of an eye and it looks, and is, quite literally like a stone. The little snakes are made from sterling silver. And I cut out an eye on the back just for an extra touch. 

This pendant is approximately 1.75” wide and it hangs on a sterling silver chain that is 20” long. If you’d like the chain to be a different length, just message me after you purchase her and I would be happy to accommodate that.
